The nose has dark cherries and earth with hints of wood. The front of the mouth is big fruit, we like to call it “Jolly Rancher”. The mid palate is rich and full. The finish has some medium tannins.

Aging:  Aged 24 months in American oak.

Food Pairing: Lamb, duck, Mexican food, root vegetables and stews are also good companions with this style of wine.
