Tasting Notes:
This superb wine is the typical Barbera which however undergoes a lengthy ageing in French oak casks (Allier and Vosges) and reflects the tradition of the aristocratic Piedmont wines. It is a strong, generous and full bodied wine. Hints of black and red fruits, with notes of vanilla. On the palate the tannins integrate volume and softness.

Aging: 
4-6 months in stainless vats; 12 months in French oak barriques, 4 months in bottle before selling

Winemaking:
Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation conducted with innovative techniques and carried out at a controlled temperature

Food Pairing:
Red meats, game and strong cheeses. Best if decanted for one hour minimum
