Tasting Notes:
Wonderful aromas of strawberries, cherries and flowers. Full body, firm, silky tannins and a tangy, fresh finish. I like the dried-berry and orange peel character to this. Needs three to four years of bottle age to soften: better in 2017.

Aging:
The wine ages in 225 liter French barriques for 3 months, then in Slavonian oak casks for 12 months followed by a maturation in bottle for another 12 months.

Winemaking:
Fruit undergoes natural fermentation with daily pumpovers and full malolactic fermentation completed.

Food Pairing:  It is ideal with grilled foods, white and red meats, and medium aged cheeses.
