Tasting Notes: The Nals Margreid Alto Adige Pinot Bianco Sirmian sources its fruit from across 15 hectares in high-altitude vineyards where this grape shows its best results. This is a beautiful expression with a mouthful that is so precise and sharp, the wine almost tastes spicy as a result. Grapefruit, Granny Smith apple and crispy pear cede to light spice and saffron. There's a hint of white peppercorn too.
Winemaking: Single Vineyard. Hand Harvested.
Aging: Fermented three weeks in 12 and 30 hl barrel & 8 Months on lees
Food Pairing: Pasta alla Genovese, Milanese calf's liver.
