Tasting Notes:
A nose of blackberry, cassis, and chocolate with hints of vanilla gives way to a deep palate of dark cherry, ripe plum, and mocha. The vintage of 2012 lent Napa Valley winemakers supremely ripe fruit, the outcome of which is shown in the deep red hue of our staple Cabernet Sauvignon.

Aging:  100% in French Oak for 18 months.

Vineyard:  Terroir Napa Valley Estate Cabernet is sourced from Gibbs Ranch in St. Helena, with four vineyards on Lodi Lane across from Duckhorn Winery and another four sharing a small valley with Beringer's Chabot Vineyard and Hundred Acre Vineyard. Cabernet grown in both vineyards is partially contracted to Hall Wines and Trinchero Estates

Food Pairing : Beef short ribs and other braised beef dishes.
