Tasting Notes: Pale, transparent, light yellow in color. Aromatics scream of bright, crisp, citrus, lime, pineapple, and kumquat. The palate confirms the aromatics along with green apple and spicy lemon zest. This wine is held together with bright acid with the perfect amount of body and structure.

Aging:  Barrel fermented and aged in Neutral French oak for 10 months, it shows the perfect balance of acid, tropical fruits, and subtle creamy oak textures.

Winemaking: Jon & Barbara Phillips cultivate 6 acres of Chardonnay at their estate located on the east side of Olivet Road in the Russian River Valley. The vineyard enjoys warm days followed by cool nights, which naturally develops and maintains great acidity in grapes. This is the first vintage we have worked with from this vineyard, and it is certainly on pace to become the main source for our Magnolia Series Chardonnay.

Food Pairing : Grilled Salmon , pan seared scallops
